I have two fun pattern paper cards to share today.
They are incredibly simple to make but are so beautiful because the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies designer series paper does all the work for you.

There are endless options when using pattern paper to create your card.
Using the paper as a background is always a great way to show it off.
Pattern paper cards are definitely neglected in my craft studio. I tend to not use them as often as I should.

To create this card, simply cut a piece of designer paper at 4″ and then strips at 3/4″. Lining them up on the card front in pattern order.
This gives the card a lot of fun interest and yet is so simple.

As an added touch I colored the epoxy elements with my Basic Black Stampin’ Blends marker. I did go over it two times to make sure that they were nice and dark.
I love the little detail they add to this card. Under the sentiment die cut, I used vellum to outline and give it dimension. I hand cut around the vellum to make it appear as though I had die cut a piece to go behind the words.

I love your creativity and all your videos – so inspiring. Even if I can’t afford the set you are using, I can certainly apply it to some other goodies I have to hold me over.
