Slide-In Treat Box with Delightful Tag Topper Punch

Small slide-in treat box for giving gifts to friends or family.

The slide-in treat box is super simple to make.

Sandy Hancock is my 2nd upline (upline is a person that you purchase the Stampin’ UP! starter kit from)

She created this box as far as I know. I asked her if I could create a video on how to make it and share it on my blog and she said YES.

Box slides out to reveal candy and treats inside.

I struggled with knowing what to call this box. The slide-in treat box was the best I could come up with. Sometimes the hardest part of my job is naming things.

What to call something you create so that you don’t just call everything a treat box.

If this is the hardest part of my job sometimes, I’ve got it pretty good.

Tips & Instructions for Slide-In Treat Box:

+ Cut two pieces of cardstock, one at 2″ x 11″ and one at 3-3/4″ x 8-1/2″

+ Score the 2″ x 11″ piece at 1-1/2″, 2-1/2″, 4-1/2″, 6-1/2″, 8-1/2″ and 9-1/2″

+ Score the other piece on the 8-1/2″ side at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″, turn the cardstock and score at 2″

+ Punch each end of the 2″ strip with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Adhere together the top pieces that you punched. This creates your opening for the box to slide into.
