Today I have a fun watercolor technique to share that is so simple you’ll be wanting to do it with all your stamps.
I stacked up the watercolor technique with a little 2-for-1 trick so you can get two cards from one stamping session.
SUPER SIMPLE WATERCOLOR TECHNIQUE
For this simple watercolor technique I used the Artistically Inked stamp set from Stampin’ UP!, inks and water spritzer. It’s also important to use a water friend paper, for this project I used Bristol Smooth Cardstock.

I stamped the watercolor inked image on one piece of cardstock that was 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″. After the piece dried I cut it in half at 2-1/8″. This allowed me to use one stamped sheet for two different cards.

Do you like the penguin card or the simple sentiment card more? I’d love to know which you prefer.

I thought these penguins were so sweet and would make a really cute Christmas card.

On this card I used two pieces that were cut in half to create a pattern. This card is my favorite of all of them. I think I like it because it’s unique.
