Coloring this card was so relaxing.
I hadn’t colored in so long. Coloring is one of my therapies and I desperately needed a session.
I used the Stampin Blends (WHICH are now not orderable … so sorry about that) They will be available again in a couple months. They had to restock supplies.
To start with this card I did some simple masking with a light color to create my card background.
Next I did my coloring. I thought I would show you how I colored the fortune cookie because I used some weird colors to accomplish it.
I used the light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend for my shadow areas. Then the dark Daffodil Delight.
TIP: When I colored the light Daffodil Delight I didn’t color into the center of the fortune cookie the first time. This way there would be only one layer on that area, and keep it lighter when I finished the coloring.
I hope you like this card!
Comment below and tell me what your favorite fortune cookie message has been.
Once I got a fortune that said, “Good Luck” HAHA! It was weird.
