Something For Baby featuring Silhouette Cameo

One of my friends had a baby earlier this month. She is an adorable and delightful person. Baby Drake’s room is decorated in all giraffes. SO, I thought it only appropriate to make her a giraffe card and a giraffe decoration for his room. I wanted to cut out the giraffe from the stamp set Zoo Babies. SO I bought the My Digital Studio download and cut the giraffe SVG out on my Silhouette. I AM LOVING THE Silhouette. Isn’t the card adorable? Wait till you see the decoration. I used the Celebrate Today stamp set to really set this card off.

Stampin’ UP! card stock and designer series paper cut beautifully on the Silhouette. I am so thrilled about this because it’s all the paper I own. LOL. I would’ve been up a creek without a paddle if the paper didn’t cut well. Thank goodness it cuts great.

Tips & Tricks

I highly recommend using a spatula tool to get your cuts off of the cutting mat. You can find the spatula tool I use HERE.
Realize that when you use stamps for cutting if there is a line it will cut it. So make sure you choose to cut the outline and not all the lines in your Silhouette Studio.

I made a super cute cut out to go in a frame also, but I have yet to find a frame I like 🙁 So I am waiting to find that and then I will photograph it and post a pic for you.
