Sponge Your Way To a Gorgeous Card Background

Sponging on a card is one of the most effective ways to get a unique and colorful background every time.

I absolutely adore this technique.  It’s one of my go to techniques when I am unsure what to do.

Do you have those moments?  Where you really want to craft but just can’t think up something to do?

I do.  It comes and goes, that feeling.  So often when I am in a creative rut I will try doing this technique to pull me out.

I created a few cards with different backgrounds using this technique so you could see how versatile and beautiful it is.

In the video I created for you I show you how to create your own gorgeous sponged background.  After I finished the video I decided the card needed a little more something.  So I added sequins.  You can see the sequins in the photo.
