Today I am sharing a Halloween card with Stampin’ Blends tips and tricks where I create a backlit spooky scene.
Backlighting is exactly as it sounds. It means the light source is coming from the back. Have you ever taken a photo in the house in front of a window and images you photographed come out really dark? That is backlighting.
When done with intention it can be a cool effect.

This little girl is roller skating (on dirt) my silly idea, to go trick or treating. She clearly has to travel through this spooky forest to get where she’s heading.

I have to give full credit to the amazing, Sandy Allnock, for her tutorials on coloring. She’s incredible and if you want to expand your coloring abilities and learn from the master I recommend taking her classes.
She teaches using Copic Markers but I was able to apply the same principles that she shares using Stampin’ Blends.

I hope you enjoy the video. And I hope you try coloring a fun spooky scene. Just try it, I bet you’ll love it.
