After checking out the samples in the magazine, I decided to use, Summer Starfruit, Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango and Sahara Sand as a combo. They are pretty close to the sample colors provided in the article.
Then I decided to switch out the solid Island Indigo with a printed Island Indigo pattern. The piece I used is from the Sycamore Street Designer Paper that is FREE with a $50 order right now.
Here is the first card. The magazine said to use the neutral color for the majority of your room, so I applied that same concept to the card. I really love how this one turned out. The splash of Tangerine goes perfect. I chose Summer Starfruit as my card base because it was my least favorite in this combo. I used the Million Dollar Moments Stamp set, this is a hostess set you can choose for FREE when you are your own hostess at a $150 order.
Here’s the second one and it’s my FAVORITE!!! I love the ducky!
Although the colors don’t scream spring to me, I feel like the stamp sets really make if feel like a spring card. I love the oval frame. I cut two ovals from the Oval Collection Framelits.

You did a wonderful job with the color combination! I love your cards!
I think we all struggle with color combos at some point or another. These are beautiful cards! Thank you for sharing!
I like them both! I have the same problem. Espedially with mixing patterns!
