Stampin’ UP! Convention Day 3 – Headed Home

Life can throw you some real curve balls sometimes.

Katina + I traveled to Utah with my Mom and her friend Candy.  We had an amazing road trip to Utah.

However, my poor Mom got sick and spent the entire time icky sick (the kind you don’t want to discuss), and poor Candy spent the time taking care of Mom.

SO they ended up having to leave a day early and Katina and I ended up having to book last minute flights home.

It’s been crazy.  But when life gives you lemons you have to find a way to make lemonade.

As Rich Jutkins (the COO of Stampin’ UP!) said at the closing session of convention.  Life is 10% circumstances and 90% how you deal with them.

You have to make a choice to roll with the punches and just go with it.

Katina and I are headed for California today.  And on the lemonade side of things I will make it home in time to go to the Amador County Fair with Macie, which I was devastated to miss out on.

There is always a silver lining, you just have to look for it.

Oh and Mom is doing better.

Here are some really fun photos of my friends and great samples from my last day at convention.

Having a sequin on your toe at the end of convention seems perfectly normal.  The life of a Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator!
