Techniques Using Stampin’ Blends | Stampin’ Blends Series Week 3

Welcome to week 3 of our fun Stampin’ Blends series.

If you missed week 1 or week 2 click on the week and you’ll be taken there.

This week we are going to talk about fun techniques using Stampin’ Blends.

Because Stampin’ Blends are alcohol based they dry really fast.  Unlike a water based marker.

That means you can color on smooth or slick surfaces and the markers will dry quickly.

In today’s video I show how you can do some beautiful backgrounds.

One thing you can do is color on glossy white card stock with your blends. They won’t blend very well but they dry almost immediately and it is such a cool looking technique.

Another fun technique is coloring on vellum.  You can stamp your image and then color the back of the image with your blends.  This gives almost a stained glass effect to the front of the vellum.

TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS:

+ Color on glossy paper with Stampin’ Blends and they dry almost immediately

+ Stamp on vellum card stock and then color on the back of the vellum inside the lines.  The other side looks like stained glass.
