Today I have a couple of tips on using embossing paste in your handmade cardmaking. But mostly I need your help on a little catastrophe I created.
HANDMADE CARDS WITH EMBOSSING PASTE
Embossing pastes are super fun to use for creating texture and dimension on your handmade card projects.
The technique I used below is using Shimmery White Embossing Paste on a color cardstock base. This is the most simple use of the paste in my opinion.
Having the correct tools for spreading the paste is also extremely helpful. You can get a set of Pallette knives from Stampin UP!, click here to see those, they are only $5.
For this card, I used another technique. Use a Stampin’ UP! Ink Refill to color your embossing paste to match your project.
I simply put a little of the paste on scrap paper, added a drop or two of the Granny Apple Green ink refill, and mixed it with my palette knife.
