What do you want?

Happy Friday Everyone!

I love Fridays!  Even though I am no longer in the workforce, my hubby is.  AND Friday for us means a weekend off of routine.  It’s so nice to have him home and be able to hang out.  Tonight I think we are going to have a campfire in the backyard and roast marshmallows with our little one…. What do you do on Fridays?

Today I have some blog candy for you!  I want to know… What do you like seeing in video tutorials, what do you NOT like to see, what makes you want to come back and watch someone’s videos again and again…Here is a quick video on my thoughts…

All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post and or my You Tube channel with the answers to the questions above.. I will choose a winner with Random.Org on Monday 5/7 and the winner will get $25 in FREE Stampin Up product of their choice.  Must be used by 5/31.

Good morning. I love to go to a blog that is uplifting. If I’m having a bad day it is nice to hear a cheerful voice and watch a great video too. Sometimes you just want to see what is happening in their life. Have a great day. Regina

I love your videos. I like to see tips with projects, like how to line up your scallops so they come out even. Or different things to do with punches. Your projects are always great. I don’t like to see videos where you need to purchase an arsenal of tools just to make one card. Thanks for a chance to win this great candy.

Hi Wendy!! I enjoy following your posts. In videos I want to see action on camera, not someone’s hands doing nothing while they talk! I’m there to be inspired and learn new things. A clean set up and knowing what you want to say (such as referring to a particular stamp set or DSP) is a must! I don’t mind the occasional pet or child interruption as long as it doesn’t stop the tutorial progression. Superimposed writing is very helpful and often comforting(haven’t we all mixed our words at some point? ) I will continue to follow your posts and see your latest creations. Thanks for sharing your talent!!

I love to see technique videos. All though weird ideas that you say “oh wow, never would have thought to do it that way”..kind of thing. Thanks for the giveaway Wendy! ~hugs~ Karen Sue

I enjoy coming to your blog to see the video’s of the different cards and projects that you have created. I like to see the variety of ideas and suggestions that I may not think of, I also like to see the different products that are used (as much as my fiance wished I didn’t cause then I want to buy new stuff) and the different ways that they can be used.
Thanks for the great suggestions so far!

I love the tutorials! So many great ideas. I have watched a few videos of other bloggers…the one thing that I love is when you share all the details of what you are using & where to find it before you get started as well as once you have gotten into the project. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas….keep them coming!!

I noticed you have the most hits on Episode 28…over 1,000 when you used the simply scored diagonal plate. I found your youtube channel doing a search for the simply scored. One thing to increase views may be to do more things using the simply scored and diagonal plate so it comes up when people do searches.

    Hi Wendy-
I love how you do explain step by step how to get the project done. I know having a blog is time consuming and sometimes frustrating ;o(
You are in the right path Dear!. I do not know if you have a Fb page. It may help you as well to show what you do.
As far as what I would like to see here…I mentioned on your you tube channel, I do have problems with my layouts! There are tons of youtube channels for cards, but not to many for layouts. I think this could be a possibility, at least I would love to see you creating layouts.
Ps. Great job recruiting Tina on your team ;o)

I love seeing techniques that are not as common. Especailly boxes and unusual card techniques. 🙂 I also agree with the upbeat suggestion. So much more fun listening to someone that loves doing what they are doing!

I know you already did your drawing but I wanted to comment anyways. I love your blog and your videos. I subscribe to a lot of different blogs (LOL… including ALL of the ones you mentioned). But I just wanted to let you know something. If I was to list off some of my favorite “go to” sites… YOU ARE ONE OF THEM! On days that I just don’t have a lot of time I might only open the emails and watch videos from select ones and the others I may glance at. You are one that I always open up. I like your style. I like the way you explain things… I think you are doing a great job and I appreciate all that you do. Thanks! 🙂
