I got really excited about the Santa Stache stamp set from Stampin’ UP! when I first saw it. Did you know that nutcrackers originated from Germany? Yeah me either. I looked it up on Wikipedia. Nutcrackers have a guardian like appearance and almost remind me of a soldier. I think they are so fun and such a great symbol of Christmas tradition. The santa is cute too, but I really loved the nutcracker and have to admit that’s why I got the stamp set. I used our alcohol based blendabilites markers to give this nutcracker some vibrant color.
Have you ever been to see The Nutcracker performance? I have, once when I was a kid. I would love to go again. Maybe I will take my little one some day. Here’s another fun fact for you. There is a Nutcracker Museum in the Bavarian Village in Leavenworth Washington. And guess what? I’ve been there, to Leavenworth that is. Not to the museum.
Here is my video for this card:

I do read the posts about your family and it is fun to get to know the person behind the video! Also, please don’t get tired of your cards. I thought this Nutcracker size was fun but I never get tired of your normal sizes either!
