Why I Made This Card For My Kiddo!

People don’t just deserve a little handmade luv on their birthdays.

Sometimes we have to give some extra love in between the big events.

For me this means giving my daughter a card at the end of the school year and sharing my love and thoughts with her on the inside.

Macie is diligent, determined, focused and kind.  She is an exemplary student and I want to make sure she knows that I know.

I decided for the last day of school I would give her a card and a beautiful silver & gold flying snitch necklace that I picked out for her at Alex & Ani.

Cardmaking is sharing luv through little handmade works of art.  It brings so much happiness to those that receive a card.

When is the last time you made a “just because” kind of card like this one?  I would love to know and who you gave it to.  Comment below and let me know. Here are most of the supplies used on the card.  The Wildly Happy stamp set isn’t listed and will be available tomorrow, June 4th!

I just sent out about 6 cards just because I wanted to let some of my friends know I was thinking of them and praying for them. I know the cards can be just the thing God uses to brighten their day and give them a little hug.
