Welcome to WOWZA Wednesday! I needed a card that was inspirational. I wanted something that would make me feel happy when I looked at it. So I chose a happy color palette. How can you go wrong with anything that has pool party and crushed curry, right!? Then you add the polka dot embossing folder and you are just oozing happiness.
Tips & Tricks
- Scoring – To get the Fancy Fold card you need to score at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
- Punches – The small oval punch is actually too big for the “MAKE” phrase at the top of the sentiment. I used it anyway. I felt like having some stripes around the sentiment that popped up brought life to the card. I really like this. Try using punches that don’t always match your image perfectly. I know, you cringed just thinking about that, but really you could enjoy it if you try it. (I feel like I am pushing drugs on you) LOL
- Stand Up – Stand up cards are great for get wells and birthdays and inspiration. The thing about these cards is they can almost be decoration. I have a card a friend of mine gave me 6 years ago that she made and it was one of these stand up cards with a Christmas tree on it and I still have it in my Christmas Decor box and put it out every year to enjoy.
