Yellow Makes Me Happy Card #GDP025

This weeks Global Design Project challenge is a color challenge.  The colors the team chose are AMAZING!

Yellow just makes me feel happy.  And gray with yellow is like some eye candy that makes our brains giddy.  There is something relaxing and pleasing to the eye when it comes to gray and yellow.  (PS did you know that gray can be spelled grey or gray and there really is no rhyme or reason why, just sayin)

Colour Challenge

I was struggling a bit for what to do for this card.  And just then, like a superhero, Better Homes & Garden dropped an email into my inbox.  AND THIS was the photo on the front of the email.  How perfect is that.  INSTAINSPIRATION!

I used a Paper Pumpkin stamp set that I felt like would be good at creating a scarf or necklace design.  You can see the first card I created below.  I really didn’t like how it turned out.  So I made several more before I ended up with my favorite.  Here are all the cards I created in my quest for the perfect card to submit for this challenge.

But alas, I settled on this one.  I love it.  Actually looking back on the photos I have to say that the other cards weren’t that bad.  But this is definitely my favorite.  Please comment and let met know which one is your favorite!

Love that you share where you get your inspiration from Wendy and the process you go through to get your finished cards. I really like them all, but my personal favourite is the one last one also! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week.

I too liked all the cards, each so different, but with same colors. Don’t you find that when you look back at a project you usually like it better than when you just finished working on it?
